ABOUT THIS EVENT

World View is a mini docuseries from The Generation, UCLA’s student foreign affairs magazine. The project pairs extensive archival research with first-hand expertise from government agencies, advocacy groups, and field researchers to cover IR issues shaping our world. The project is student-directed, produced, edited, and scored!

Join us for a discussion on the systems and circumstances that perpetuate the global slave trade in South Asia, and bring your questions to our live Q&A with Sophia Kaufman, the episode's featured expert.

Be sure to watch the episode below PRIOR TO THE EVENT on May 18th!

ABOUT THE EVENT SERIES

Student Voices is a by-students/for-students discussion series that provides smaller spaces for students to engage with experts on issues spanning international relations. Each event is organized by the Burkle Center interns in partnership with an international relations organization on campus.
