Sara Weiss

Sara Weiss is currently a fourth-year International Development Studies major with minors in Public Policy and Geography. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, but was lucky enough to split her childhood between LA in the winters and Mammoth in the summers. She currently holds the Social Media position at the Burkle Center for International Relations, managing their Facebook and Twitter accounts. Beyond the Burkle Center, she is the current Snowboard Captain for the UCLA Ski and Snowboard Race Team, where she competes in Boardercross. Previously, she has been highly involved in other activities on campus, holding executive positions in clubs such as Invisible Children and Challah for Hunger. After college, she hopes to go to business school and pursue a career in Microfinance lending, because she strongly believes in the idea of development through empowerment.
