Come join Liberty in North Korea in welcoming Oh Chong Song — a North Korean defector, who was shot 5 times by North Korean soldiers — one of the very few people who escaped from North Korea by crossing the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Before escaping, Oh Chong Song worked as a driver for the North Korean military. This speaker event is an important, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear the uncommon story of his escape. For more information on Oh Chong Song, there are many articles about his escape from NBC, The Washington Post, CNN, etc. There will be a Q&A Session as well as merchandise available to purchase! All proceeds directly fund the rescue missions of North Korean refugees who want to enjoy the freedom that every human deserves.
