• Expedited Partner Therapy and the HIV Prevention Cascade Among MSM in Peru

  The goal of this project is to evaluate the impact of expedited partner therapy (EPT) on partner notification, testing, and treatment following an STI diagnosis. The public health impact of improved partner notification and linkage to prevention and treatment services on HIV incidence will be estimated using agent-based modeling.

  The shortage of specialists in resource-limited settings often creates challenging diagnostic and therapeutic dilemmas. To address the critical need for expert guidance, we created specialty WhatsApp groups to encourage teaching case discussions between our clinicians at UCLA and our partner sites in Malawi, Peru, Thailand, and the Indian Health Service.
